Alma Vidovic is the protégé of Vicky Tiel, Elizabeth Taylor's longtime designer. The two share the love of designing dresses that make women feel empowered. Alma has styled nationally broadcasted fashion shows for some of the world's most famous fashion icons. Her list of clients includes Mariah Carey, Iman, Twiggy, Serena Williams, Melissa McCarthy, Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne, Tori Spelling, Molly Sims, June Ambrose, Vince Camuto, Sam Edelman, Donald J Pliner, RJ Graziano, Nene Leakes, Kelly Bensimon, Heather Thompson, Carmen Marc Valvo, David Meister, Badgley Mischka, Reem Acra, Naeem Khan, Josie Natori, Nikki Poulos, Hal Rubenstein, DKNY, Levis, Iris Apfel and many others. Alma's love of fashion has been a lifelong passion. Growing up in Bosnia and Hercegovina, her early experiences with fashion included sketching, sewing, knitting and crocheting. Inspired by moving to the land of opportunity, Alma followed her dream and attended the International Academy of Design and Technology in Tampa, FL. An internship with a bridal designer led Alma to her own budding career in the fashion industry. In February 2013, Alma debuted her first bridal collection, which was favorably received by some of the nation's leading media sources including the Associated Press, ABC, NBC, CBS, The Huffington Post, The Tampa Tribune, Fox News etc.
Alma's career in fashion is enriched by a strong dedication to philanthropic efforts, one of which is growing the fashion industry. In an effort to help young designers with starting and running their businesses, she founded the Fashion Industry Association, a Florida non-profit organization with members in fashion, beauty, photography and modeling.
